Friday night-
Finish school and bail into civic to meet JT and Dan2kill at Essen. Wonder to mum's work to see whats up and get some moneys for petrol. We trek it back to D2k's car to roll over to mine to pick up gear/merch/fresh clothes/babyjosh.
We drive to Woden to grab some of Blakes drum gear fuck around for too long. From here we start the long drive to Cooma. i have never met an angrier driver in my life. Deadset D2k looked like he was going to cry from anger everytime someone in front of him was going too slow. One of the funniest things i have ever seen. Midnight In America was on repeat most of the way there which made the drive a million times better then it was. We arrived at the hub to be greeted by Eli, it was the best thing in that moment in time to see him again. Was so stoked cause this would be the first all the runaways would have been together since the nowra trip. It was good to see everyone again. Whats left opened the show with an amazing set, was real impressed. Xlies in ashesX played next, the last time i saw these dudes was at Dropsaw, I wasnt too stoked on them there but they played so tight at the cooma show. Was real keen to hear more from them then realised they were breaking up(fuck im an idiot). We played next without pete. it was a pretty short sloppy set but we got a good response. Payback after us were super tight as usual. Dudes lost their shit to their set. Kids dancing like crazy left right and center. Silverback ended the night. They played pretty well at nowra, but they killed it at cooma. Dudes were running around naked during their set, kids were two stepping everywhere and dancing like nothing else. night ended lots of good chats outside after the show. The usual crazy after show antics went down, more talks about music and so we said our goodbyes and went our own ways. D2k had been drinking before and didnt think he could drive so i offered to do so. We get 100m from the hub and we fucking get pulled over by some fat fucked piggie. Apparently im not allowed to drive manuals. Fucking bullshit! I got a $189 fine from that piece of shit. Deadset wouldnt have cared if he just hit me a few times. I have no fucking money to pay for this shit right now. I think I raged for about 30 mins before we ran into eli and some cooma kids walking around outside maccas. we got in the car for our long drive back to canberra. More killer chats and dumb shit said. Consequences on repeat the whole time. JT was feeling heaps sick but still chilled at ours. We got to the shack at about 1am and unloaded the most crucial stuff. We got ready to lie back and have a few brews. We talked shit until about 7 in the morning. We woke up and went our ways.
This was our friday night it made me happy.
